anemia question.iron and vitamin C?

I have heard something about taking the vitamin C at the opposite time of day than the iron instead of taking them together. Anyone know from experience which is best? Are there any other suppliments that help with anemia? I am well aware the best source is via food, a.k.a red meat, dark leafy greens, etc.

Iron absorption from your intestines is improved by Vitamin C …

Yes, in an ideal world none of us would ever eat processed food, and fast food would not exist. Iron and C supplements are a good start, and I would also add a B complex
