I have 17, 16 and 13 year old cats and they eat quite a number of different varieties plus a raw meat diet I prepare for them as dinner every day. I use Natural Balance, Avoderm, Lick Your Chops, Nature's Variety Instinct (the last two for lamb protein), CA Natural and Evanger's. They don't like Felidae, Merrick, Newmann. I really like the raw meat the best for them. I don't know about all that guar gum, rice, fish meal etc. The raw meat is just straight ground meat with a supplement for calcium, some B vitamins and salmon oil. I use the livers and hearts from the organic chicken and turkey too - extra taurine and Vitamin A. I really don’t think your cat needs a “senior” formula. The ingrediants don't look so bad especially with chciken and chicken broth the furst 2 ingredians. I also see no gluten which is good. Your cat can do without the brewers rice.
