why is it that when a Doctor finds you have food alergys they never tell you what you can eat?
I cant have any of the following – wheat, rye, barley, rice, pastry, fish, most meats, green vegies, avacardo, citrus, mangos, grapes, all dairy, pasta, yoghurt, tofu, homous, I am not allowed any food high in vitamin K. I only wish they would give me a list of foods I can have to replace what I cant have. Any suggestions please?
the reason I cant have vitamin K in high amounts is Im on warfarin and it affects my blood tests. to those asking if I asked yes I did and got told to find things I could have.
i have two mechanical heart valves that is why Im on warfarin. I have intolerance to all wheat, barley, rye, rice, dairy, pasta, fish, pastry. citrus gives me indigestion. I have a list of high vitamin K foods from the net.

I am a doctor and just want to know more information, why you can not have high vit K?and what is your condition….not all foods you have mentioned have vit K. You should provide more information in your question.
Are those foods allergies or foods to avoid because of your medical condition? Either way, see a dietitian. Give them that list plus a list of what you like to eat and what you simply don’t like. They’ll help you come up with a plan.

why dont u ask him!!!!!
